Certified translation

This is the translated version of your document made by a Certified Translator accredited by the Peruvian Association of Professional Licensed Translators for all kinds of procedures in Peru or abroad. It bears the stamp and signature of the Certified Translator, who certifies the translation accuracy and quality at a national and international level.

The certified translation is provided in hard copy and is considered an intangible document consisting of a cover page, the translated document in the target language and the document in the source language. See below an example of a certified translation.

Which institutions require a certified translation?

In Peru, many institutions such as the National Superintendency of University Education (SUNEDU), ministries or embassies require that all documents not in Spanish must be accompanied by certified Spanish translations signed by a Certified Translator to ensure that the translation is accurate.

It is sent by email in any editable digital format such as Word, Excel, Power Point or PDF and is usually applied to documents that do not require a legally valid translation such as CVs, letters, articles, applications, etc. This type of translation does not bear the translator's stamp or signature and is less expensive than a certified translation.
